How do you choose what venues you work with?
Great question! We do an initial call to hear where you are in your process, and to see if we both think we are a good fit for each other. It's about 45-60 minutes and we just chat big venue dreams. We only work with so many venues a year so that we ensure we have enough time to be present in your project, so sometimes that plays into if we are able to work together as well.
Why do you call it Kindling & Crew?
Because we have learned through our own trials and tribulations that a great fire is not built without kindling. A venue flourishes when it's been well thought out and prepared for. It also often takes many small pieces to lead to success, much like how a fire is built to last with many small sticks under the logs. It also takes the right crew to then be able to successfully run your venue (and keep your fire burning). We hope this analogy makes sense and reignites with you.... it's also a very cute name (is it not?).
